Russia’s AvtoVAZagregat to repay wage arrears by September

SAMARA, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- The management of Russian car seat producer AvtoVAZagregat, one of the largest suppliers to carmaker AvtoVAZ, has pledged to fully repay wage arrears by September, a spokesperson for the Samara Region government told PRIME on Wednesday.

As of Tuesday, the company transferred a total of 156.6 million rubles of liabilities to dismissed employees.

AvtoVAZagregat has been idle since July 2015. AvtoVAZ was previously ready to buy AvtoVAZagregat, but the talks ceased in August 2015, as the seat producer declined to fulfill obligations on seat supplies.
